which is where we'll be taking the ferry in a

in a couple hours maybe four or five hours

we'll get ready to go up there

and this morning was fantastic

here I'm sitting inside an old volcanic

I mean this volcanic rock is sharp

the new volcanic rock on the Big Island of Hawaii

we spent the whole morning here at the Juicy Magic

clearing it out getting it ready so that we can

Today is is Tuesday

we'll overnight in a little cabin on the boat

but this morning while Maria was packing the car

I was out here

enjoying the sun and sand and surf

and all the beautiful sounds of the birds

and watching the little crabs

along the sides of this little caldera here

and it's salt water

I'm scrubbing my body and I've been cleaning

someone dumped a lot of stuff into this little place

and there's actually a lot of garbage here

but we're near an abandoned old kind of Marina park

where we went this morning for a little civilization
